Author: Burnley Council Leader, and Lib Dem Councillor for Coulclough with Deerplay, Gordon Birtwistle, will be taking part in a political debate over Elevates proposals to change from the current grant of up to £30,000 to home owners affected by Elevate, to a loan of £30,000 instead.
A row has developed in recent weeks, and Councillor Birtwistle will be appearing on the BBC’s The Politics Show on Sunday, 17th June, at 12:00noon to debate the issue.
